　　法鼓山世界佛教教育園區是渾然天成的大自然禪堂，建築景觀與山林環境融合為一，處處無不展現環保之美，充滿禪機妙法。散步其間，觀山、觀水、觀呼吸，內外合一，身心澄淨，當下即淨土。

　　The Dharma Drum Mountain complex serves as a totally natural Chan hall. By combining its architecture with the natural surroundings, it displays the beauty of natural environmentalism and delivers the wonderful Chan teachings. Walk around, contemplating nature and being mindful of your breath, and you will enjoy a purified, united body and mind, and experience a pure land on earth.

　　The Beauty of Environmentalism

　　法鼓山在創建之初，即秉持心靈環保精神，尊重自然、保護生態，在盡量不破壞山林環境的原則下，進行育樹、溪流整治等工程；並使用環保建材、節能系統，以及雨水再利用等設計，達到資源永續的目的。讓各種原生動物與植物，皆可在此共存共榮。

　　Since its initial planning stage, Dharma Drum Mountain has followed the principles of protecting the spiritual environment and respecting the natural ecology. By keeping the surroundings intact, transplanting trees, conducting dredging work, using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems, and recycling rain water, resource sustainability has been achieved, allowing native animals and plants to thrive.

　　An Environment that Inspires Chan Joy

　　法鼓山園區的自然景觀與人文建築相互融合，充分發揮環境教育的功能，讓前來參訪的人們，透過觀賞外境景物，觀照自己的內心世界，達到內外皆自在的體悟。當身心全然放鬆，與環境合而為一，就能身自在，心自在，體驗福慧自在的禪悅。

　　At the Dharma Drum Mountain complex, the landscaping and humanistic style architecture are perfectly blended to serve as an education tool, allowing visitors to appreciate natural views while contemplating their minds, and thus realize freedom within and without. This leads to a relaxed body and mind, uniting with the environment as one, experiencing the blessings, wisdom, and ease of Chan delight.
