This collection, along with the framework in which it was produced, offers an image of the present relationship between archaeology and computer science. The volume comprises 54 papers, while the attached CD contains the full material (84 contributions) presented at the 2008 CAA conference in Budapest. The studies are grouped around four large topics: Remote Sensing and Arial Photography; Data Acquisition and Management; GIS and Intrasite Analysis and finally Virtual Reconstruction and Visualisation.
