Suiting Up for God’s Team: Facing the Adversary and Coming Off Conquerors

Before we came to earth we chose to join Heavenly Father's team with Jesus Christ as our Captain. It is essential that we understand God's plan for us and how the Atonement of Jesus Christ is central to that plan. Also, to be successful on earth we need to know about the Adversary. In the scriptures we come to understand his offensive, defensive and trick plays that we will face in life. Most importantly, we learn what our Savior has done for us so we can come off conquerors. Through the scriptures and teachings of modern prophets and apostles from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, you will discover who your opponent is, what his plays are, and how to gain strength to overcome. You will also discover why our team Captain makes it possible for us to receive the ultimate reward.

Eric Buffington was born in Ontario Canada, where he lived until he was 18. After that point he traveled with a Canadian government program, for one year, then moved to California to serve a two year mission working with the Laotian people. Shortly after returning home he met the love of his life, moved to Pennsylvania and married her. He has since completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in education. He currently lives in Pennsylvania with his wonderfully supportive wife, and their four children. He currently works as a High School math teacher in an online cyber school.
