Patrick J. McGarrity, a recovering sinner, was born into a large Irish Catholic family in New Jersey. He currently lives in Colorado, serving his extended family and serving the community as a tutor to high school and college students. As a Cradle Catholic, he was well prepared to find the peace that Catholics wish each other at every Mass, but for most of his life did not.
