Nancy Harkey is a retired psychology professor who taught for many years at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She specialized in such areas as Child Development, Experimental Methods and Psychobiology. Together with her daughter, Teri, she created three temperament measures at Cal Poly, and authored the book Parenting by Temperament: Full Revised Edition.
