Love of the Heart: Poetry for the Heart/Insights from My Soul/Scripture Lessons Just Meant for You

My experiences in work, church, life in general, and much, much, more. A collection of works prepared for many different occasions. Earlier in my life, I began to write poetry or just write down many things and ideas on paper. Later in life, I began to keep most of my written documents. I then later began to write more and more, especially scripture lessons for church and the sick and shut-in. During my travels in the United States and then traveling abroad, I've witnessed many great wonders of this world traveling to over fifty different countries. I enjoy writing and especially writing down my ideas and conveying them to others. I began to think maybe others would enjoy reading my written works. I believe love of the heart will enhance my reader emotionally and spiritually and give my reader great joy and peace with their lives.

I grew up on Detroit’s lower east side called ＂Paradise Valley＂. Our community consisted of black families, mostly working mothers. A quiet neighborhood, doors were left open at night during the summer, a movie theater on the corner, markets, a delicatessen, a billiard hall, shoe shops and clothing stores. I grew up loving God and his word. I was always a good student loving to write down my thoughts to more clearly view all my thought sometimes in poetry. I soon became an adult, marriage, children, college, traveling for over 40 years to over 50 countries. My travel was simply magnificent and it enriched my life but I needed to explore more of my spiritual desires in this world, which takes me to my Christian Journey with God. I began to grow more spiritually, and I pray daily that God will continue to bless and keep me in his loving care.
