Dr. L. Earl Singleton graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a bachelor of applied arts and sciences in interdisciplinary studies. He went on to earn a master of science in educational administration and a master of education in secondary education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He also holds a doctor of ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

An educator for seventeen years, seven as a school principal, Singleton is deeply aware of the problems irresponsible parents cause students who might otherwise excel. He has served as an adjunct faculty member with the Dallas County Community College’s alternative certification programs and acted as vice chair of the advisory board, a responsibility that earned him an outstanding-service award.
