The Soul of a Little Black Girl Dreaming is a collection of poetry and prose about heartbreak, love, depression, jealousy, and and raw emotions from the point of view of a little black teenage girl. This poetry was written through 1999-2000 and captures the raw effects of depression in an everyday African-American teenage girl growing up in a low income, single parent household.
